EasyAlign Pro
You align a group by face, by edge or by bounding box — without typing a measurement. Hold Ctrl and it copies instead of moving.
Stray ends, reversed faces and junction lines sorted by clicking the block — all at once or stage by stage.
Open beta — free now, may become paid in the future.
Requires Hub for SketchUp — it's free, and it's what makes installing, activating and updating happen without leaving SketchUp. See the Hub
The minimum version is what SmartManiaa supports — not the oldest one the plugin might open on. That's why it's high.
Every model collects dirt: stray edges left over from an exploded boolean, leftover lines between coplanar faces, faces flipped inside out, junction scars where one module meets another. Hunting that by hand is zoom, click, delete, check, repeat — and something always slips through.
EasyClean brings four tools to that cleanup. Express Clean is the fast mode: click a block and the automatic pass runs in cycles — it closes the contours it can, deletes the stray edges, resolves junctions with three or more faces and merges coplanar lines, until the geometry settles. The Cleaning Center is the surgical mode: before you even step in, it color-marks which blocks are dirty and which are already clean; you step into the block and work through it in phases — edges, junctions, coplanar and seams —, with every problem edge highlighted in color in the model and counted in the panel. Nothing is deleted until you press the button.
The other two handle appearance. Adjust Faces fixes orientation in one click: the face you click turns toward the camera and the fix propagates through every connected face in the block, no more hunting blue faces one by one. And Finishing hides the junction lines between blocks — in Smart mode it finds overlapping lines and hides the shorter one, keeping the other; in Line mode you hide any line you click; and Reveal brings back what was hidden. It hides, it never deletes.
Throughout, each pass is a single operation in the undo history: one Ctrl+Z rolls the whole thing back. Heavy blocks (from 10,000 edges up) trigger a warning before running, and locked blocks are skipped.
About the model: EasyClean is in open beta. It's free right now — all you need is a SmartManiaa account — and it will become paid later, with advance notice inside the plugin itself before anything changes. No tricks: use it on real models and decide if it's worth it when the price arrives. Built by an architect who gets handed dirty SketchUp models every week.
One EasyTools licence covers the whole family.
You align a group by face, by edge or by bounding box — without typing a measurement. Hold Ctrl and it copies instead of moving.
You paint the 2D plan — wall, door, window, floor — and it becomes 3D volume.
You swap one texture for another across the whole group, group loose faces by texture and purge materials in one go.
You click a line and select everything on that tag. Delete, isolate and flatten the CAD plan before you raise the volume.
You click a slab and the floor plan becomes a scene, named and dimensioned. Sections and elevations the same way.
